Apparently the Warriors finally took action against Guard Monta Ellis,who got injured this past off-season by wrecking a moped,lying about it,needing surgery on torn ligaments and will be out a good bit of the season..its for like 30 games,which amounts to about $3 million..but its odd that the suspension is when he is hurt..but I guess its the money that is what is suppose to hurt here(signed a $66 million contract in July) well atleast he didnt end up like Jay Williams and had his career ended...he made a mistake and hopefully learned from it.
Also in less related basketball news...the Suns and Nuggets get to play in the 2nd game all time outdoors shortly tonight...I doubt anyone will play huge minutes..it is preseason you know..but just to see it outdoors will be an interesting look I think.Tune in..
Chiefs Tightend Tony Gonzalez is on the trading block...I'm actually surprised it took this long to get him out of there...he's toiling the rest of his career away so far in a terrible situation..take the Jason Taylor route and get going...
